MSX Is Speaking at the First PMN Mobile User Experience (MEX) Conference in London

LONDON -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/04/05 -- MEX -- MSX, providing rich mobile subscriber experiences (formerly MVoem), has been invited to speak at MEX, the PMN Mobile User Experience conference. This two day summit provides insight into all aspects of the user experience, including technology platforms, design strategy and the commercial reality of delivering truly user-centred mobile products.

"MEX is the first conference focused on putting customer experience at the heart of the industry value chain," said Marek Pawlowski, Editorial Director at PMN Mobile Industry Intelligence, the organisers of MEX. "I am delighted MSX will be able to share their expertise and deep understanding of this area with the conference."

As a recognised industry leader in this exciting emerging market, MSX will be talking about its customer successes with Mobile Operators, MVNOs, Mobile Phone Manufacturers and Service Providers. This will be illustrated with real life case studies on customer requirements, problems that need to be addressed and how MSX has solved these requirements using the MSX Platform. MSX is also participating at the conference to increase awareness, reach new customers and explore additional investment opportunities.

The MSX Platform is a client-server solution that enables rich deeply branded end-to-end services for brand focused mobile operators such as MVNOs and consumer brands moving into the mobile space. The MSX Server manages and publishes experiences within the operator's infrastructure and acts as a conduit to provide mobile services authored using standard design tools. The MSX Engine provides a flexible user operating environment on low power mass-market feature phones. The entire phone experience is handled via the MSX Engine, while also providing consistent launch environments to traditional mobile service silos such as J2ME, QUALCOMM BREW, I-Mode, or even SmartPhone platforms.

About MSX

MSX (formerly MVoem) enables unique, rich and powerful end-end mobile subscriber experiences. The MSX platform allows an MVNO, traditional mobile operator or consumer brands to create mobile experiences and services on mass-market phones while leveraging open standards. The MSX platform provides a vector based engine that runs on low power high volume platforms, such as those based on ARM7, which is coupled with a robust carrier-grade management server.

The explosion of new web/cloud/IoT-based applications and the data they generate are transforming our world right before our eyes. In this rush to adopt these new technologies, organizations are often ignoring fundamental questions concerning who owns the data and failing to ask for permission to conduct invasive surveillance of their customers. Organizations that are not transparent about how their systems gather data telemetry without offering shared data ownership risk product rejection, regu...

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
Machine learning has taken residence at our cities' cores and now we can finally have "smart cities." Cities are a collection of buildings made to provide the structure and safety necessary for people to function, create and survive. Buildings are a pool of ever-changing performance data from large automated systems such as heating and cooling to the people that live and work within them. Through machine learning, buildings can optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve occupant comfort by ...

Poor data quality and analytics drive down business value. In fact, Gartner estimated that the average financial impact of poor data quality on organizations is $9.7 million per year. But bad data is much more than a cost center. By eroding trust in information, analytics and the business decisions based on these, it is a serious impediment to digital transformation.
