NFL PLAYERS and Airborne Join Forces to Mobilize the Faces of Football

Airborne Mobile Brings NFL Stars to Fans' Phones

SEATTLE, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- National Football League Players Incorporated (NFL PLAYERS) and Airborne Mobile have announced a partnership which will give fans across North America the ability to customize mobile devices with images of their favorite NFL players.

Airborne recently renewed its agreement with the NFL, allowing the company to provide league marks to handsets across North America. By connecting with NFL PLAYERS for the unique rights to create and distribute player-specific content, Airborne has taken the next step in satisfying football fans across the continent.

"With this new partnership, we're happy to now be able to offer fans a full and complete suite of pro-football mobile content; from their favorite team logos to images and tones of their favorite players," said Angela Tanzi, Vice-President, Product & Operations for Airborne Mobile. "These personalization products offer fans the most portable, in-your-face way to show support for their favorite teams and players."

Fans can choose from a variety of wallpapers, ringtones and applications that transform their handset into a shrine to their favorite NFL player. With superstars like Peyton Manning, Larry Fitzgerald, Adrian Peterson and Ben Roethlisberger as well as promising rookies such as Mark Sanchez and Jason Smith, fans will have no problem finding a favorite.

"Airborne's collection of player content helps bring our athletes and their personalities to life through individual fan connections," said Keith Gordon, Acting President of NFL PLAYERS. "Given the increasing reliance on mobile technology, we see this as a great way for players and fans to connect on a more personal level."

The new suite of content will be available on the My NFL Wireless web portal and North American carrier decks in October.
